Spacely released a new song and set the tone for what should be a busy 2018 campaign for the La Meme Gang member crooner. The song however is more of a dark version of VALS DAY (Initially released on valentines day) .The song roots back on a dilemma of an indecisive girl leading the latter party on. The song kicks off with a unique intro as a French girl who sounds very indecisive asks Spacely to come over and keeps on rescheduling with time. Spacely hops on the NXWRTH beat with his deep soothing voice as he acknowledges his relationship with the girl in the first line “been my homie since day 1”.
He goes on to croon over NXWRTH’s (pronounced as North) mid tempo production on how times have changed growing up and how indecisive the girl is. Spacely wants the girl and is tired of being led on and asks the girl to make up her mind on the chorus as he sings in French
“DIT MOI” which means “TELL ME”. Amazingly this is not the first time the singer has displayed multilingualism in a song.
On la Meme collaborative single “Cherie” he kicked off the song with a French intro which gives approval of he’s bilingual Ability. After the singer is done being emotional and tells the girl to make up her mind, Ground Up artiste Kwesi Arthur delivers a powerful rap verse which contains a mixture of throwback, childhood activities and frustration based the girls decision. Kwesi Arthur asks the girl to stay with him and shows how frustrated he is with the girl’s indecisiveness in quoted line “you want to stay, stay with me” and “you for make up your mind up shawn dey air boys”. Arthur delivers the same message Spacely is trying to get to the girl but in a more traditional and easy to understand way with the childhood memories.
The “Digits” hit maker shows off his vocals on the next verse as he hits the high pitch during the chorus. The song rounds off with a little beat switch at the end where NXWRTH gives the song a new lease on life while taking the listener to an entirely new place. THE bilingual single ends with the classic NXWRTH signature basically completing this sentimental pastoral song. “DIT MOI” is served as a Loners Anthem and is cathartic for those who find themselves in a similar situation
